Matrix services
Matrix is available to small society and/or independent publishers, anywhere in the world. Our service is aimed primarily at journal publishers but we see an increasing role for Matrix in working across a wider range of publication types in a variety of media as new technologies continue to change the way in which the information needs of the community can be met.
For 2007 we are launching the service with a full sales and marketing package for journal publishers. TBI will provide you with an Account Manager, who will oversee all aspects of the Matrix service on your behalf. TBI also provides marketing expertise and resource to develop and deliver your marketing strategy. Global sales representation and multi-lingual customer service is provided through an alliance with Accucoms B.V. Key elements of the service available immediately include:
- Development and documentation of a marketing strategy
- Market audit – profile sales/market and identify growth opportunities
- Definition of marketing objectives, strategies and tactics
- Development of an annual marketing and PR plan
- Implementation of marketing and PR plan*
- Design and production of marketing collateral*
- Global sales representation
- Telemarketing and lead generation
- Multi-lingual customer support in Europe and the Americas
- Reporting on the effectiveness of sales and marketing efforts
*Priorities and a budget for expenditure on marketing activities are agreed in advance with each publisher every year based on the proposed plan.
Our service is designed to supplement the expertise and resources of your existing internal teams – we will work with you to shape it to meet your individual needs.
From 2008 we will be expanding the service to also offer strategic support and central procurement for general business development, technology, production and distribution. More details will become available as we expand the program.
